A lawsuit accusing the publisher of the
neo-Nazi site Daily Stormer of coordinating a “terror campaign” of
online harassment against a Jewish real estate agent cannot be dismissed
on First Amendment grounds, a federal judge in Montana ruled this week.
In his ruling
denying a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, Dana L. Christensen, the chief
judge for United States District Court in Missoula, Mont., wrote that
the real estate agent, Tanya Gersh, was a private citizen, not a public
figure, and that the publisher, Andrew Anglin, incited his followers to
harass her as part of a personal campaign.
The party, pointing to an NPC that the DM never intended to be a recurring character: That’s My Child Now
@caffeinatedwriters Now you gotta write them a quest where they get the chance to bring him back!!
The first dungeon-boss that my group was meant to just quickly kill at the end of their very first session, they saved from death. Repeatedly. She’s now a reoccurring character who despite the fact that she is defs evil and showing no signs of redemption (yet) they keep. Saving?? So I guess I’d better write a redemption arc?
I love your players so much. I’m imagining Local Villain turning good mainly out of confusion because why they save me tho????
We’ve adopted our first small villain to the party as a DMPC. During the interrogation he suddenly bursts into tears, says the villaining was his last desperate try to unfuck his life and now we can do whatever we want with him, cause he’s done. He’s out of ideas and his life is still fucked up. The whole party went all “aaaaww there there pat pat poor thing” and now he’s our token pretty boy and an in-game DM’s snarky voice.
We found a 20 ft cube of gelatinous acid in the underdark. He wanted to see sunlight. He was perfect. So he became part of our party. He’s slow so he always follows behind us and every now and again he has a few new skeletons inside of him of the fools that tried to sneak up behind us. He’s my favorite.
I love this. I support you and your sun-loving acid dog
Across the board, Maximum Fun podcasts do not provide transcripts with their shows. Without transcripts, whole populations (including deaf and hard-of-hearing folks, neurodivergent people, people with auditory processing disorders and more) cannot access audio mediums like podcasts.
Jesse Thorn, owner of Max Fun, has said that part of the reason for this is a lack of demand, and that he thinks deaf and hard-of-hearing people won’t find the humor in many of the podcasts by reading them. Not only is this incorrect, it puts the responsibility of accessibility onto disabled people. It also ignores the fact that for many, reading is the only way to access certain media like podcasts.
It is imperative that content creators build accessibility into their products from the start. Otherwise, they are sending the message that their work is for able-bodied people only. Jesse Thorn stated that he was willing to revisit his decision not to provide transcripts in the future. So it’s very important that Max Fun fans let him know: we care about accessibility! We want to be able to share the shows we love with disabled friends and family. We want transcripts!
Sign to show the folks at Max Fun that a truly accessible, inclusive network is something we care about!

(also, please let me know if there are any accessibility issues with this site, i’ve never used this platform before. thanks, y’all, you’re my favorites.)

yep! If interested in experiencing KHUX in a more long-form way: a youtuber named Everglow (who’s been reporting on Kingdom Hearts news since the series began) has been putting together a Kingdom Hearts Timeline for the last couple of months; it’s made up of cutscenes and gameplay from every game, told chronologically, and with references to past and future entries edited into the scenes. These videos also include secret reports, japan-exclusive scenes, modded gameplay, new music, etc. Each episode is typically about 20-30 minutes, and he’s on-track to have the whole story out by the time KH3 is released. In essence, his Timeline is the perfect way to catch up with the whole story of the series before KH3 is out. The KHUX portion comprises the first 10 videos
The narration implies Kris has seen and used save points before, but their save is at 0:00 and nowhere, so I guess independently of what someone has done with saves at a previous time, now the point of reference is this adventure so time is at zero since the day started. Or maybe I just overthinking these mechanics too much.
Still, we didn’t see a single save point in the surface, so where has Kris used these before? Have they been in the Dark World before? Since they never talk or express much, it’s hard to tell if they recognized something in the situation or not.
