this kitten weighs over 5 pounds already and he’s only 14 weeks old. He’s half the size of an adult cat and he hasn’t even lost his baby teeth yet

He is now 16 weeks old and over 6 pounds. Kittens are supposed to be half their adult weight at 5-6 months, and he is barely 4 months old. What the fuck.

Now at 22 weeks, 5 months old, half his adult weight, this baby is 10 pounds,,,

30 WEEKS. 7 MONTHS.

14 POUNDS.

THAT IS TWICE THE AVERAGE WEIGHT OF A CAT HIS AGE. THE GIRLS IN HIS LITTER ARE ONLY LIKE 8 POUNDS WHY IS HE SO HUGE

Powerful

The King has come!

A dog-sized cat is either a great idea or a terrible idea.

Great idea

Show us a full body pic please @sabertoothwalrus

Here’s a picture from last week with Purry (16 years old) and Half-n-Half (still 7 months old)

Fizgig, a #tawnyfrogmouth at #discoverycove, suns herself in one of the walk-through aviaries. Even though tawny frog-mouths are nocturnal hunters, they enjoy seeking out the sun and fluffing out their feathers to warm up. Yes, her head is completely upside down in this photo. #birds #birb #owlimitator (at Discovery Cove)

I spent so long just standing and watching her sun herself and preen – it’s really rare to be able see frogmouths awake and active – they’re normally found in nocturnal exhibits, where you’re peering through the gloom at an intense set of eyes and a giant beak. (Confession: even as of posting this, I’m still in that aviary).
